Committee applications deadline approaching!

Dear members and fellow students,

With three days remaining to apply for the Society's executive committee roles (see details in the previous post), we have only received applicants for the role of President and want to remind you to please apply here at the lates June 30th: https://forms.gle/xaVK5mKVabAZBhAo8

The form requires only brief motivation and no prior experience is expected of applicants.

Environmental Law is a very quickly growing field and young lawyers with environmental awareness and experience are highly demanded – GUELS is your opportunity to get to know this area of law and, as a committee, organise this opportunity for others!

We are looking forward to your applications,
Best of Luck,
GUELS outgoing President

23/24 EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN!
Deadline: 30th June

🌿We are happy to announce the opening of applications for next year’s GUELS Exec Committee!

☘️If you are interested in applying in any (or all) of these positions, please follow this link: https://forms.gle/xaVK5mKVabAZBhAo8

🌴All applicants are very welcome, regardless of degree, prior subject-specific experience and year of study! We only ask that you outline your motivation for applying and any competence which may be relevant to the role.

🌱From our experience this year, we have understood that non-executive roles are best decided on by the respective exec committee based on the Society’s needs and plans for the academic year. Therefore, the students elected in these positions will recruit the remaining committee towards the beginning of the upcoming term.

🌳We have also found that roles tend to be very fluid at GUELS, which, although may or may not equally be the case next year, means that you will experience things like taking initiative, leading events, researching topics that interest you, posting and editing, and much more in some capacity (great for your CV!)

🌵We wish you the best of luck and look forward to reading your applications and meeting the new Committee:)
