World Maternal Mental Health Day 🌍👩‍👧

World Maternal Mental Health Day is a campaign to raise awareness of maternal mental health.

The picture below is the Mother and Baby Unit at Leverndale Hospital in Glasgow. It was the first Mother and Baby unit to open in Scotland. The Unit admits both Mum and baby which means that Mum can receive mental health treatment while being with her baby. Admission to the Mother and Baby Unit can be at any stage of the pregnancy and if required admission can last until a year after the baby is born.
