⭐ POWER OF ATTORNEY 📝
🔸 What is it?🖋️
A Power of Attorney is your legal written authority appointing someone to make decisions or take actions on your behalf. Your Power of Attorney will name a person (or persons) to be your Attorney(s). Your Power of Attorney will also state when your Attorney(s) can step in and begin their role.
You can make a Power of Attorney in Scotland if you are over the age of 16, and you can appoint anyone as an Attorney if they are over the age of 16. You can appoint more than one principal Attorney and you should also consider a substitute Attorney should your principal Attorney become unable to do things for you.
Your Power of Attorney can contain anything to do with decision making including what happens with your money, property and your personal health or welfare.
