It is always better to returnof your own funds and your own accord, as the state paying for the flight means that you will have a longer time to wait before you can return to the UK approx 5 years.

Once you have not been deported from the UK (criminal or public good offences), and you have not overstayed and breached Immigration conditions such as absconding/failure to report or using deception, you can apply to return to the UK, subject to 12 months time frame. If you have been charged with deception in a former application you are barred from the UK for 10 years.

the UKBA shall be removing the need for Certificates of approval to marry in the UK from April 2011. Pro or Con? you tell me?

A new requirement for all persons seeking to come to the UK is that they must have a TB (Tuberculosis) health screening test if they are seeking to come to the UK for more tahn 6 months. The only applicants who do not need to be tested for TB are children under 11 years old, diplomats and their families. All other applicants who do not show a certificate when they apply for a visa will be refused.

The UKBA have raised fees for UK Visas from April 2011. i.e The fee for a short term visit visa to the UK will be £76 GBP and the fee's for a settlement visa will be £810-£1,814.00 depending the type of settlement. Naturaliation in the UK will be around £836.00 GBP. - Are visitors and other migrants truly paying for the recession in the UK?
