Oak sleeper retaining wall + composite decking path ✅

This garden needed two things: proper support and a clean, low-maintenance finish. We installed a solid oak sleeper retaining wall, secured with steel H/I beams for strength and longevity, then finished it off with a composite decking walkway for a smart, hard-wearing surface that won’t need constant upkeep.

Big difference in both looks and practicality — built to last, not just to photograph.

Bathroom refresh — start to finish ✅

A proper step-by-step transformation on this one. Stripped it back, prepped everything properly, then rebuilt it into a clean, modern shower space.

Work included:

Full rip-out & tidy prep
Framing/boxing for a neat layout
Proper waterproof tanking before tiling (the bit you don’t see, but really matters)
Large format tiling & trims
Walk-in glass screen & new shower set-up
Finishing touches to leave it sharp and ready to use

Another bespoke build finished in Eastbourne ✅

Custom bird aviary made to suit the space and keep everything secure and weather-ready — solid timber frame, galvanised mesh panels, full access door with heavy-duty ironmongery, and a separate enclosed section for shelter/storage.

Fresh floor transformation ✅

This one started as a bare concrete slab and finished with a smart oak laminate floor that completely lifts the room.
Key to a job like this is the prep and the detail work — clean, level base, correct underlay, tidy cuts around the hearth/edges, and leaving the right expansion gaps so it performs properly long-term.

Custom-made bathroom door fitted ✅

Made this one from scratch with vertical tongue & groove boards for a clean, timeless look, finished off with matte black ironmongery. Proper solid, smooth action, and it suits the character of the house perfectly.

Rotten window sill rescue ✅

This sill had rot and let water track into the frame. We cut out all the soft timber, spliced in new treated sections, then sealed, primed and repainted so it’s watertight again (and looks the part).
If your paint’s bubbling, cracking, or the sill feels “spongy” — don’t leave it. A small repair now can save the whole window later.

Stable roof replacement ✅ (before / during / after)

This one was well past its best — leaks, tired sheets and timbers that had started to suffer. We stripped the roof back, checked the frame, replaced any compromised sections, then rebuilt with a fresh deck where needed and fitted new corrugated sheets with proper ridge detailing and fixings for a clean, watertight finish.

Another job where doing it properly now saves constant patching later.
