Say hello to Emma Ryan from Enniskillen—a Glassgow-based dentist with a love for people, performing arts, and making a difference in her community.
A proud Fermanagh native, Emma is currently working with the NHS in Scotland, where she brings both skill and empathy to her work every day. When she’s not in scrubs, you might find her belting out a ballad—Emma is a classically trained singer, pianist and trumpet player who once starred in her school’s production of Footloose.
She’s also a seasoned traveller and passionate volunteer, having spent a summer in Cambodia delivering dental care in prisons. Her story is one of compassion, resilience, and heart—after experiencing sudden hearing loss in one ear, Emma became a skilled lip reader and an advocate for greater awareness of hidden disabilities.
With her warmth, humour, and love of people, Emma brings a unique spark to this year’s Fermanagh Rose selection.
