The correct answer to last week’s quiz questions was C. In England and Wales, a Will must be witnessed by two independent adults who are present at the same time when the Will is signed. Importantly, they (and their spouses/civil partners) should not be beneficiaries in the Will, otherwise they risk losing their inheritance under the Will.

This requirement helps ensure the Will is valid and reduces the risk of undue influence or fraud.
