🎬✨ Lights, camera, ACTION! ✨🎬

A week on and we are still in recovery, but what an absolutely incredible day at the 2026 Eastbourne Carnival CIC! Having taken part the last couple of years, when the fabulous Mina O'Brien from Ditzy Media asked if we wanted to be one of the “front line dancers”… of course the answer was YES! Even better, we got to wear one of Mina’s amazing costumes too. ❤️🩷💜💃

This colourful, energetic and atmospheric event just gets bigger and better every year, and we feel so grateful to be part of something that brings the whole of Eastbourne together. The sweltering heat, the sore feet and the endless dancing were worth every second just to see the incredible floats, elaborate costumes and the smiling crowds cheering everyone on. ❤️

If you ever get the chance to volunteer in the future — whether it’s bucket collecting, marshalling or joining the parade — do it! You won’t regret it. What a brilliant day for our town. 🎭🎉

One of our favourite summer events of the year has to be the St Wilfrid's Hospice Luncheon ☀️🥂 And wow… this year absolutely delivered on the weather.

Around 500 guests from wonderful local businesses, colleagues and friends, all coming together to raise money for such an incredible local charity ❤️ Add in some very exciting raffle prizes (including a Harley-Davidson👀🏍️)… although, in true tradition, we bought tickets and then forgot to check the numbers 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

A lovely bonus this year was heading over afterwards for a few at the Gun Brewery - The Saffrons and spotting our good friend Fergus — the perfect end to a brilliant afternoon and a chance to meet some lovely new faces too.

A whopping £237,000 raised in a short afternoon - well done everyone ☀️

Sometimes you just know… ✨🏡

This spacious three-bedroom bungalow came back to us to market after we’d managed it a few years ago — and from the very first phone call with the prospective tenants, we had a feeling.

Fast forward to the viewing… they absolutely loved it. Plenty of space, beautiful garden, garage, parking… and it just felt right. A couple of weeks later and they’ve got the keys in hand, just in time to spend the late May bank holiday getting settled and enjoying that garden 🌿☀️

Yesterday was a long overdue catch-up… and what a setting for it 🌿✨

We finally got to visit our lovely friend and former neighbour, Kara Robertson, at her brand new Woodview Wellness salon – and wow… what a hidden gem! Nestled in a beautiful rural spot and forming part of her stunning home, this peaceful retreat is all about switching off and soaking up nature 🌳

From beauty and spa treatments to counselling, it is the perfect place to unwind. We were lucky enough to enjoy a treatment ourselves (pure bliss!) followed by a sunny catch-up… and even left with a gorgeous little goodie bag 🎁

Wishing Kara every success with this exciting new venture – although with a setting like that, we think she’s onto a winner already 💚
