I am delighted to share that as of Monday 2nd March, I joined KGW Family Law working alongside Karin Walker MCIArb, Simon Clark, Amy Cooper and their great supporting team.
I first went into law to help people and make a difference. Over the last nearly four years of specialising in Family Law, I am proud to have helped countless families in that time. Importantly though, on the most part, I’ve managed to help my clients by keeping their matters out of the family court system and by reaching pragmatic solutions in a cost efficient way. It is an approach to my work that I take pride in and something that I wanted to focus on moving forwards.
Thankfully, resolving issues away from court (non-court dispute resolution (NCDR)) is at the heart of KGW Family Law and everyone at the firm is qualified in a form of NCDR. For those that do not know, Karin Walker herself is renowned for her work in the Family Law world and is a highly respected Solicitor, Mediator, Arbitrator and Collaborative Lawyer.
I could not learn from a better team in this area and I am excited to be starting my own training in June, to qualify as a Mediator. I will be continuing to help and advise my own clients in my role as a Solicitor, but also widening my practice so that I can also help separating couples come to an agreement between themselves on family law issues.
I am loving this new challenge and helping even more clients.
