We’re still looking back on a fantastic evening at the Annual Law Ball, hosted by the Doncaster & District Law Society in collaboration with the DJLD. 🥂

🌍⚖️ World Day for International Justice

Today marks the adoption of the Rome Statute, which established the International Criminal Court and strengthened the global commitment to holding those responsible for the world’s most serious crimes accountable. 🌎

As legal professionals and aspiring lawyers, we’re reminded of the importance of fairness, integrity, and access to justice—not only internationally, but within our own communities. 💙

🚣‍♀️ MEET THE TEAM 🚣‍♂️

Today we’re introducing some of the brave committee members taking part in our Kayak Challenge on 1 August. Our committee members Liam Bawden, Samantha Downes and Sharnika Reid will be braving the challenge alongside Annette Morton.

They’re preparing to swap legal documents for paddles as they take on the challenge in support of the The Carr Fenton Foundation.
