A Malaysian woman who had 𝐧𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 in the UK has still won 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 claims against the owner of a Lake District hotel.

Erin Chun Ling Ong, who entered Britain on a visitor visa, worked at the Fisherbeck Hotel in Ambleside for just 36 days before being dismissed via WhatsApp, an employment tribunal heard.
