Cyber fraud targeting law firms is on the rise & conveyancing transactions are a prime target.

Fraudsters send emails from domains that look almost identical to ours, hoping you won't spot the difference.

Our domain is always .co.uk ( or .sortlegal.co.uk for marketing emails).

If you receive bank details by email, always confirm them by phone with your case handler before sending any funds. Never rely on email alone.

Today we said goodbye to Janet Quinlan-Jones as she heads off to enjoy a well-deserved retirement 💚

After five & a half years with Sort Legal as our Remortgage Director, it's safe to say she's made a huge impact. From leading the team to mentoring many of our apprentices, Janet has helped so many people grow in their careers.

So when she won the Mentor of the Year award in 2023, it came as no surprise & it's a true reflection of the support, encouragement & knowledge she's shared over the years.

Thank you for everything, Janet. We hope retirement brings you plenty of time to relax, make new memories & enjoy whatever comes next. You'll be missed by us all! 💜
