Hi everyone, I’m Gail Hadfield Grainger, and I’d like to share why I’m so passionate about what I do.

I provide:
✔️ FREE legal representation if you’re arrested or need to attend a voluntary police interview.
✔️ Expert defence at court hearings if you’re charged with an offence alongside some of the best Solicitors and Barristers in their field.
✔️ Later Life Planning services, including wills, lasting powers of attorney, and trusts, at competitive prices.
✔️ Support for crime victims to claim compensation through the CICA.
✔️ Assistance for families bereaved by police, prisons, or state institutions, guiding them through inquests, public inquiries, and connecting them with top legal teams.

This work is deeply personal to me. After losing Anthony Grainger, who was tragically shot by police in 2012, I made it my mission to stand up for those in need. Post By Gail Hadfield-Grainger

Four years ago, I wrote an article about the devastating loss of my partner, Anthony Grainger, who was killed by the police in a so-called "highly pre-planned" operation.

Today, I want to share that article again to remind everyone that the pain of such an incident never truly goes away. Instead of letting it consume me, I have channeled that pain into a force for change.

In the aftermath of Anthony's death, I faced a system that seemed designed to protect those in power rather than deliver justice. As you will see from the way the police 'conferred' whilst writing their independent statements, and the pages and pages of 'redacted' material we were provided with, their main aim is self-preservation, not transparency and human decency.

The inquiry revealed so many shocking failures, fabrications, and a complete lack of accountability. For eight long years, I fought for answers and justice, and even though it has been proven in the Anthony Grainger Inquiry report by HHJ Teague, that the police were to blame for his death, there has been no justice 💔

But I refused to give up.

During the Inquiry, I studied Law and Criminology, then went on to complete a Masters in the Criminal Justice Process with a focus on deaths after police contact witha critical exploration of the police fi****ms unit. I graduated with distinction, something I never dreamt of, but now I want to use the education and experience to help others in society whi need protection from the police.

This is why I am now striving to become a police station representative to help people at their first point of contact with the police, with a desire to prevent miscarriages of justice from happening to anyone else. I also dedicate my efforts to help families who are facing similar tragedies because of police actions.

My journey has shown me that we can turn our deepest sorrows into a powerful drive for change. If my story can inspire even one person to keep fighting, then sharing it is worth it.

Please read my article and of you work for or with the police, think of the impact that mistakes, lie and miscarriages of justice really have on the families amd wider public 🙏🏽

WARNING: This episode contains disturbing audio from the very start as well as bad language, offensive comments and descriptions of a sexual nature. It also refers to drug taking and dealing.

The shaky mobile phone footage was harrowing. Filmed by his neighbour, Andre Moura can be heard screaming for help, telling the police they are hurting him and begging to speak to his children. He’d been sprayed with CS gas - a shocked eyewitness describes watching a police officer kneeing him several times.

In police bodycam footage of the same incident, PC Chris Bolger is heard telling the warehouse worker he won’t win “this fight” and that the officer would, “put him to sleep”. Soon afterwards the dad of four suffered a massive heart attack in the back of a police van and died

Late last year, the footage was played to an inquest jury tasked with determining how Andre had died. But what the jury weren’t told was that the police officer and keen body builder accused of attacking Andre had been convicted of selling steroids and resigned before he could be sacked by Greater Manchester Police.

Disturbed by the case, campaigner Gail Hadfield-Grainger sets out for Radio 4 out to investigate whether this was an isolated case, or if it could be symptomatic of a wider steroid issue amongst the Police

With in-depth interviews, Gail explores why some police officers feel they have to take anabolic steroids, if addiction to muscle building substance is putting them at the mercy of criminal dealers, and whether “Roid Rage” could be risking lives by causing some officers to use excessive force in high tension interactions with the public.

Gail also explores whether it could be fuelling sexual crime by police officers and speaks to one expert who says he believes, when it comes to Anabolic Steroids the authorities may have “fallen asleep at the wheel”

GMP Chief Constable, admitted his force's failings had caused "unimaginable harm" to the family of 36 year old Anthony Grainger.......

But yet - still not one single officer, regardless of rank, has faced consequences for their failings that led to Anthony being killed.🤬

Have the police lost public trust?
Are the police above the law?

Do you trust the police to act honestly and serve the public with integrity?

A chief has made an unreserved personal apology and accepted an incompetent tactical fi****ms unit’s surveillance operation was to blame for the fatal shooting of an unarmed man in a Cheshire car park.

Since 2012 - Gail Hadfield Grainger has been learning about the laws around policing.

She didn't just complete a Law LLB degree, but Also a Masters MSc. where she recieved a distinction in 'THE Criminal Justice Process'.

This is a higher level of education that compliments the LAW degree but focuses more on the Processes, rules and the procedures that must be followed by The criminal Justice System.

Not only did this Masters Course specialise in the Police and Human Rights (and area close to Gail's Passion for justice) but also all areas of the criminal justice System including the introduction of invasive BIG BROTHER Systems such as the facial recognition camera introduction to London, terrorism law, prisons, murder/manslaughter, domestic violence and much much more.

Gail now specialises in police stations representation if you are arrested or need to attend a voluntary interview under caution - but will always support those that have been alseriously injured or killed by the police!

She also has a support group for those who have been bereaved by a death in Custody or during police Fi****ms operation.

It happens more than you think unfortunately.

It is not illegal under UK law to film police officers carrying out police work in a public place, whether it's one officer or many.

➡️ Photographing or filming police officers during an incident without causing an obstruction or interfering with their work is 100% lawful. 👮🏻‍♂️

➡️ Public and the media do not need a permit to film/photograph in public places and police have no power to stop them documenting incidents or police personnel.

➡️ Guidance around this is made clear to police officers and PCSOs through briefings and internal communications. 📹

➡️ Under Section 43 and Section 58A of the Terrorism Act, officers may stop, search and/or seize camera equipment if they can demonstrate reasonable suspicion of terror-related activity.

➡️ Officers do not have the power to delete digital images at any point during a search. 📷

➡️ It is generally unlawful for police to use section 58A to arrest people photographing police officers in the course of normal policing activities.

➡️ Police have the right to speak to individuals who may be filming/photographing them. They cannot demand to view images/video.

➡️ To summarise, any member of the public can film a police officer or officers on public streets without seeking permission. There is no UK law preventing this.

➡️ Officers cannot stop you from filming them during normal policing activities, without reasonable legal grounds. 🛑

➡️ There are additional rules and guidelines around documenting members of the public during police incidents and so on, but in terms of basic law, you have every right to photograph and film police officers on duty. 🚨
