‘Education is the fountain of wisdom.’
These meaningful words were written in a recent handwritten letter from one of two girls whose education we sponsor through an overseas charity we support in Uganda.
On World Letter Writing Day, we're reflecting on the impact that handwritten messages can have.
We were also delighted to receive handwritten thank-you cards from one of our work experience students, today, expressing her appreciation for the opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience with our team.
Although written thousands of miles apart, both messages shared a common theme: appreciation, opportunity and the positive impact that support from others can have on someone's journey.
In this fast paced digital world we now live in, we are especially grateful to both girls for taking the time to put pen to paper and for keeping alive the valuable art of handwritten communication
