Who would look after your children if you couldn’t? 💚

It is something no parent wants to imagine, but making plans for your children is one of the most important reasons to have a Will.

If you have children under 18, your Will can be used to appoint guardians, giving you the opportunity to state who you would want to care for them if the worst were to happen.

Without the right arrangements in place, the people you assume would care for your children may not necessarily be the people legally appointed to do so.

Don’t assume your family can simply step in. 💚

If you lose mental capacity or become unable to manage your own affairs, your family does not automatically have the legal authority to act on your behalf.

Without the correct documents in place, bank accounts may become restricted and banks, financial institutions and other organisations may be unable to speak to or deal with your family.

Plan ahead. Choose who you trust. Put your LPAs in place today. ☎📝
