Today, the second stage of the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women sets off from Clitheroe before travelling through the Ribble Valley and onwards to Blackpool.

The route takes in some very familiar places, including Sawley, Bolton-by-Bowland, Tosside, Slaidburn, Waddington, Sabden, Whalley, Hurst Green, and Longridge.

It’s fantastic to see our corner of Lancashire hosting world-class women’s cycling and being showcased to audiences far beyond the Ribble Valley - we'll be heading out of the office and up to Castle Street to cheer them on!

Good luck to every rider - especially on that climb up to the Nick O’Pendle 🙈
