So I had the absolute pleasure of being interviewed by Rachel Smith on her Lessons From Loss podcast. I am so excited to support my dearest friend Jen Le Marinel: WildFire Walks in her auction raising funds on behalf of the Ju/'Hoansi tribe in the Nyae Nyae Conservancy in the Kalahari Desert, to support existing, long-term, San-led projects on the ground there.

Jen Le Marinel has just not long returned from her trip to the Kalahari and she is involved with a longer-term programme out there working in partnership with the Ju/'Hoansi, and she has decided to run this fundraiser in response to their specific request for financial help to support their projects.

I am so, so inspired and moved by Jen's passion for her projects, and was really thrilled to be asked to share.

Christmas is a challenging time of year for many, and the subject area in which I work is one that easily stays on people's 'must-do' lists - and starts at the top of the list in the New Year and remains at the bottom of the list at the end of the year - so please, if you do need someone to hold space for you whilst we discuss all things related to the 'dying' end of life AND you would like to bid and support a GREAT cause - check out Wildfire Walks auction and connect with Jen in some way.

I know – this is not a topic of conversation that people necessarily rush to have – but after the misery of COVID-19 and challenges many people have had – starting the conversation is a good beginning!
