We had a fantastic turnout for the Four Recruitment and CG HR Connect seminar this morning 🙌

The session delivered invaluable insights from industry experts, including our own Andrew Halpin, providing the latest updates in employment law, and Jonny Caldwell, who explored the evolving role of within . We also heard from the team at Four Recruitment, alongside guest speaker Sam Dewey, who shared an insightful discussion on the evolution of total reward.

Hosted at the brilliant Wellbeing Farm - easily one of the best venues we’ve had the pleasure of hosting a seminar at.

Of course, no seminar morning would be complete without pastries and good networking too.

Our CG team love supporting the local community and charities - and this time, they’re taking it to new heights 🪂

Katie Westwood and Holly Coope will be skydiving on 7 June 2026 to raise money for Inspire Youth Zone as part of their Corporate Challenge.

Each team starts with £50 and has eight weeks to grow it through their own fundraising efforts - all in support of an incredible charity that has already helped over 10,000 young people.

Inspire Youth Zone relies entirely on donations, with around £1.6 million needed each year to keep their doors open. With £460 needed to take part in the skydive, we’re aiming to raise as much as possible so the impact goes even further.

We’re pleased to announce the appointment of Dayna Currie as Corporate Strategy Director, a newly created role that strengthens our team as we continue to grow.

Dayna brings close to 20 years’ experience across financial advisory and in-house strategy roles, including the past decade supporting high-growth, private equity-backed and listed businesses through periods of change and scale.

Her appointment marks an important step in our growth journey, further strengthening our strategic capability as we continue to evolve and expand the support we offer to clients.

An evening built on connection 🤝

Last week, CG had the pleasure of co-hosting a partner dinner with , welcoming a fantastic group of guests for an evening of great food from , conversation, and networking.

As the official legal partner, it was a great opportunity to build new relationships, strengthen existing ones, and engage with a wide network in a relaxed setting. Events like this are a great reminder of the value of bringing the right people together.

A big thank you to Bolesworth for hosting us at their incredible venue and bringing everything together so seamlessly.

Nearly a week on from our first tournament with Arete Capital Partners LLP and Seneca Partners Limited, and we’re still not over it 👀

We brought together businesses from across the North West for an energetic afternoon of padel, great conversations, and some healthy competition on court.

The event helped raise important funds for - a cause we’re proud to support.

We hosted our first padel tournament in partnership with Arête Capital Partners and Seneca Partners, bringing together businesses from across the North West for a fun, fast-paced afternoon on the court 🏓

It was a great opportunity to connect, compete, and enjoy a few hours of padel with an amazing group of people. All while raising vital funds for .

As we begin to wrap up #2025, the CG team hosted two fantastic winter drinks, welcoming clients and contacts to in our home cities and 🥂

Across both evenings, we celebrated meaningful conversations, stronger connections, and the partnerships that have driven growth throughout the year — a great way to close out 2025.
