We are delighted to announce that ticket sales for the Southern Family Law Conference 2026 are now live! Secure your space at our event at The Harbour Hotel Brighton on Thursday 10 September.
Focused on “Hot Topics and Future Trends in Family Law” you will hear from eminent speakers on all aspects of family law, with topics including financial remedy work, private law children work, family law reform 2026, therapeutic skills for lawyers and the voice of the child. With so much change across the profession, we look forward to welcome you for an inspiring day of learning and networking.
The agenda will conclude with a debate, chaired by Christopher Wagstaffe KC: "This house believes that children are not in practice the court’s “first consideration” under MCA 1973 s25 as too little regard is given to their welfare and to the impact on them of their parents' separation, and that many children remain dependent well beyond the age of 18.”
Please note that places are limited and our early bird offer is only available until18 June, so please book early to avoid disappointment. The ticket price includes breakfast, lunch and refreshments throughout the day, as well as drinks and canapés at the evening reception which follows the conference. We look forward to seeing you there!
Early bird: £180 + VAT. £210 + VAT thereafter.
