An opportunity has arisen for a Legal Secretary/Admin Assistant to join one of the most progressive, dynamic, and forward-thinking law firm in Chesham. In this role, the successful candidate will provide secretarial and administrative support to the Conveyancing team.
Tasks include:
• Attending to clients and others, both on the telephone and in person, where possible dealing with initial enquiries and/or taking detailed messages to enable the appropriate person to deal with the matter on fee earners return;
• Diary and meeting room management
• Taking new enquiries via the phone and email
• Filing & scanning
• Assisting with billing
• General secretarial duties
• General administration duties as required
• Undertaking any other ad hoc duties as requested within the capabilities of the post holder;
Skills and experience required:
• Previous experience as a Legal Secretary/Assistant is highly desirable
• Previous experience of working within property law would be advantageous
• Self-motivated and organised
• Excellent communication skills
• Good time-management skills
• Excellent IT skills, including use of the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PDFs)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £18,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
