Bad news Im afraid - the Arts Council have decided once again not to fund the festival. This is after we met with the SW Area Director Phil Gibby who said "This is exactly what we should be funding!" and Chief Executive Darren Henley regarding all organisations in Cheltenham's lack of funding from the AC.

Sorry to say that means no festival this year 😞

If any artists are contacted by Art UK its because they're trying to document all the permanent murals in the UK. They've recently done all the sculptures around the country too. We have been speaking with them as Cheltenham has so many permanent murals.

I am currently working to, hopefully, start a paint festival in Redditch and, as a taster for the town, we would like to commission an artist to paint a pioneer mural there. It is hoped this will be a gateway to further murals in the town.
