🚨The Importance of Court Orders and Why They Should be Abided:🚨

In the family courts, it's crucial that both parents respect and follow court orders. πŸ“„These orders exist to protect the best interests of the children involved.

Courts are serious about enforcing these orders and ensuring that they are upheld. πŸ§‘β€βš–οΈ Non-compliance can result in penalties, such as fines, community orders, or even imprisonment. πŸ’·πŸš”

This was the case in Raza v Gall [2023], in which the court order that if Ms Gall failed to comply with the terms of suspension, she would serve 14 days in prison, which represented 50% of the initial 28-day term.

This was after her failure to attend several hearings, in which the Judge deemed she the seriousness of the breach and her lack of contribution posed a negative effect to her child.

πŸ” Court Orders are there to: πŸ”
1) Provide Stability: Court orders establish routines and expectations, providing children with a sense of stability and security during challenging times.🏠
2) Protect Children’s Best Interests: Court orders are crafted with the children's well-being in mind, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘¦πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘§
3) Reduce Conflict: Adhering to court orders can minimise conflicts between parents, creating a more peaceful environment for children to thrive 🀝

πŸ“£So BOTH parents must ABIDE by court orders to avoid the repercussions that are being deployed by the courts.πŸ“£
