The grand total raised this year from our annual Make a Will Month scheme is an incredible £6,623! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and made a Will earlier this year whilst donating to the hospice. Initially 2 days per week (Monday and Friday) increasing to full time in June to cover maternity leave.

Secretary - Atkinson Ritson Solicitors
We would like to recruit a Legal Secretary/Trainee Legal Secretary for our Wigton Office, working in the Wills and Probate department.
The ideal candidate would be bright, conscientious and friendly either with secretarial experience or a willingness to learn. While experience would be valued, we would also welcome good candidates without prior experience who could learn the job over time.
The role could be full time or tailored to have somewhat reduced hours to accommodate a successful candidate who, for example, needed to fit the role around school drop-off/pick-up times.

We have now opened our application process in relation to a training contract for a trainee solicitor commencing 1 September 2021 in either our Carlisle or Wigton office (as required).

We would welcome applications from law graduates with a minimum 2.1 degree and who will have completed the Legal Practice Course prior to commencing a training contract. Previous experience in a legal environment is preferred but not essential.
