Prison Law Assist are a team of ex-solicitors who fight for the rights of prisoners inside and focus only on Prison Law issues, unlike other firms who deal in all aspects of law.

We specialise in challenging and appealing recategorisation decisions, prison transfers, discrimination issues whilst in custody, as well as helping prisoners with their HDC (home detention curfew) and ROTL (release on temporary licence) applications. We're also able to assist with many other prison related issues which are listed on our website.

We charge only low fixed fee prices (as opposed to other firms who charge ongoing hourly fees or a high initial fee), with our one-off fixed fee at *£395* for all recategorisation and prison transfer issues and appeals.
