Join the Kent Student Law Society (KSLS) and the Empowering Womxn in Law Society (EWiL) in another fantastic panel event called “Meet the Vac Schemers!” This event will allow applicants to hear from Kent students who have received vacation scheme and/or training contract offers from top City firms. It will be a fantastic opportunity for aspiring solicitors to gain insider advice on how to succeed in the application and interview process based on real experiences.

Panellists include those who have received offers from Clifford Chance, Charles Russell Speechlys, Slaughter and May, Herbert Smith Freehills and Ashurst!

While the conviction of Sarah Everard's killer may bring some measure of justice, today we a concrete proof that punishment alone cannot solve the problem of violence against womxn. Since her death, at least another 125 womxn were killed in UK, and nothing shows that this is going to change. The Empowering Womxn in Law society, UKC MMA Society, and the UKC Respect the NO Society invite you to join a peaceful, silent walk to take action and demand change. We will gather outside 'The Plaza' (opposite Co-op) on Friday 3rd of March at 5:30. Let's make our voices heard, even in silence."
