Our new bespoke plaque has now been installed at our latest office within the Cathedral Precincts, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Set in the beautiful historic surroundings of the cathedral grounds, it features the Starck Uberoi coat of arms, originally granted by King James I in 1617 to a member of the Starck family line. The history sits well in a setting with such deep heritage.

Another connection we have with the cathedral is through our senior partner, Raminder Uberoi, who is also a Notary Public. Notaries are appointed through the Faculty Office of the Archbishop of Canterbury which gives this location added relevance to our work.

It is a simple installation but a clear sign of our growth in Canterbury and across Kent. We will keep building our footprint throughout the region and delivering the high standards our clients expect.

Our team did a tremendous job for our clients by completing close to 200 transactions in March to meet the stamp duty deadline! Our conveyancing Partners Raminder Singh Uberoi and Laura Maltby are very proud of their efforts and arranged for the Brentford and Canterbury teams to enjoy a well earned get together at Dishoom in Kings Cross!

Recently our Head of Legal Operations, Dino Saddul, and Raminder Uberoi a Managing Partner, had the pleasure of meeting Walter Avrili and Ron Walton from MortgageForce. They were inspired to hear how the former MDs of John Charcol, scaled the firm from a small team into one of the UK’s leading mortgage brokerages during the 1980s.

The team are now looking forward to working with James Cassidy, whose progress in the bridging and commercial property sectors is certainly one to watch.

A special thanks to Nick Jury from Coutts for the introductions and for sharing valuable insights into the current state of prime London real estate, particularly in the context of today’s political landscape.
