This week, Redkite Solicitors rolled out three seminars focused on navigating the Employment Rights Act 2025 and practical steps for employers and HR teams to take⚖️

The seminars, led by Carys Lodwick alongside Gemma O’Brien, were delivered in collaboration with Hays Recruitment as part of the Redkite Employment Forum. Now that the Employment Rights Act 2025 is in force and key changes are starting to take shape, the “wait and see” period for HR teams is well and truly over.

Held across Swansea, St Brides and Cardiff, the sessions covered key developments including day-one rights, statutory sick pay changes, recruitment and probation reforms, zero-hours contract reviews, new harassment duties, and evolving expectations around record keeping and enforcement.

Attracting over 230 sign-ups, the seminars saw strong engagement and discussion throughout, creating a great space for HR professionals and business leaders to explore these changes in practice, reconnect with contacts and build new relationships.

It was a pleasure to bring together so many attendees for honest, thoughtful discussion around pensions, property and long term planning.

A huge thank you to Gemma Millard for leading the conversation together with our guest speakers, Craig Baker from Dentons Pensions and Rachael Abbott and to Havas Helia for hosting us so warmly.
