🌸 A little piece of Bromsgrove history outside our office 🌸

You may have noticed this rather impressive old stone horse trough outside our office, but did you know it has quite a history?

The trough was created as a memorial to Benjamin Hadley Sanders, a prominent Bromsgrove solicitor and local figure. It was originally erected in the early 1900s and was later moved to Sanders Park when the road layout changed.

In 2007, the trough was carefully restored and returned to a position very close to its original location – where it now sits proudly outside our office.

It’s a lovely reminder of Bromsgrove’s past, and one of those historic features that you can easily walk past without knowing the story behind it.

🌷 We thought we’d share a little of its history and give this beautiful old memorial the attention it deserves!

A little smile can brighten someone’s day, cost absolutely nothing, and sometimes mean more than we realise.

So today, let’s spread a little happiness, share a smile, be kind, and remind the people we love just how special they are. 🥰

Keep smiling, keep laughing, and make someone else smile today too! 😊🌎💛

❤️ Did you know we have a defibrillator at Strand House?
Our defibrillator is located on the outside wall next to the porch and is available should it ever be needed.
The team at Bromsgrove raised funds through various activities to purchase the defibrillator and to help cover its ongoing maintenance.
Pictured below are Toby and Hannah, our two trained first aiders, standing next to the defibrillator.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped raise the funds and continues to support this important community resource. ❤️

Have you got any old bras lying around? 👙♻️

Former Scout Leader Kate and the team are collecting unwanted bras for Bromsgrove Girlguides!

The bras will be sent to a bra recycling bank, which distributes them to people around the world who need them. 🌍

In return, Bromsgrove Girlguides receive funding towards replacing the roof of their HQ — so it’s a great way to support the Guides while also keeping bras out of landfill. 💚

What can you donate?
Any style of bra is welcome, as long as it’s in good condition. Please make sure there are:
No rips or tears
No broken straps
No underwire poking out
If you have any unwanted bras you’d like to donate, we’d be very grateful! 🥰

Delighted to share another fabulous review.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I would highly recommend this Solicitor.

They handled the sale of my property with professionalism, efficiency & excellent attention to detail throughout the entire process.

Communication was clear & timely & I always felt informed & supported at every stage.

Their expertise & dedication made what could have been a complex transaction feel straightforward & well managed.

Honest, straightforward & acted with integrity. I am extremely grateful for their hard work & would not hesitate to use their services again or recommend them to others.

Lorna Ganley, Partner and Head of Residential Property.

Please get in touch if you think we can be of help. We would love to hear from you.
