Another job completed at The offices of Steve Gooch Estate Agents in Newent. I had so much fun doing this one. Windows and doors fully decorated a lot of repairs were needed as these were old windows but nothing we can’t handle.

Twas a warm one today! But with the beautiful weather comes opportunities to get the outside jobs done. Started this one for Steve Gooch Estate Agents today. Back windows and the front of the shop are getting a complete makeover using Trade Direct To Wood and Metal. Cannot wait to show you the end results on this one.

A fresh look to the front garden railings, thanks to Trade direct to wood and metal in Downing Street black. This stuff is just a life saver when you’re wanting the job done quickly and professionally. Goes straight over rust and leaves a beautiful satin finish. So beautiful in fact I had people walking past wanting me to do their fences too!

Finally painted! Inside and out. Just the electrics to be done this weekend and it’s finally done. Work has been hectic so I do as much as I can when I can and today I had a few hours to finish it off. Really happy with how it turned out.

I haven’t changed one of these Siphons in about 10 years! Piece of advice for anyone still rocking these old style toilets. When the flush has failed and isn’t pushing and water through it’s normally because the diaphragm has split. So I changed this one for a Dudley Siphon. Now the best thing about Dudley Siphons is if this happens again in this lifetime they’ve been cleverly designed so that you can just slide the old diaphragm out and slide a new one in without the need to take it all apart and resit a new siphon. So if you do decide to change it, use Dudley Siphons they’re also height adjustable so really versatile and yes I know I’m lazy not turning the water off! But that’s the beauty of a ball c**k!
