"Life doesn't come with a manual, it comes with a mother." Today is a celebration of anyone who has filled that role for someone in their life and been a part of nurturing another. Happy Mother's Day.

It is tragic to read the latest stats but sadly this isn't new. For those of us who have worked in services protecting people - majority but not always women - this has been a government agenda item for years.
I would love to see a real change... these bright brilliant beautiful people deserve better!

We tracked reports and contacted police and prosecutors for a deeper look at the situation across UK.

It's World Nutella Day. I didn't even know that was a thing until this evening. Today has been quite nuts (full on), but in a good/warm way, (how chocolate feels) so maybe that was my connection.
A great start with a cuppa and cwtch at Society cafe.
Then a legal update full day conference at thanks to Albion Chambers.
From the planetarium side of Bristol's waterfront across to and evening time on (6oclock gin) for incredible live music from the hosted by St John's Chambers.
I'm not working tomorrow. Maybe I'll get some Nutella and reflect on the busy-ness, but fun, of today and the people I'm grateful for across my professional journey whilst I indulge.
How do you have your Nutella?
Who are you professionally grateful to?
