A lovely afternoon at Kindling for June’s First Friday Lunch Club.

Great food, relaxed networking and plenty of brilliant conversations with professionals from across Brighton and beyond.

One of the best things about these lunches is seeing the mix of familiar faces and new guests around the table each month. Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such an enjoyable event.

Almost a full house at last week’s team meeting!

One of the things we love about Cognitive Law is that, while we are a consultancy firm and everyone has the freedom to work independently, we still feel very much like a team.

Every quarter we get together to share updates, do some training, swap ideas and have a proper catch up, usually with plenty of coffee involved!

That is the beauty of consultancy done well. You can manage your own time, clients and workload, while still having the support, encouragement and connection of a collaborative firm around you.

Working for yourself, but not by yourself. That is what it is all about.

And just like that, May half term is nearly over.

For lots of working parents, it has probably been a week of juggling. A bit of work, a bit of childcare, a few emails in between, and trying to enjoy some family time along the way.
