This National Burn Awareness Day, our Personal Injury Executive, Hollie, is sharing her experiences of helping people who have suffered burn injuries, including children. Her cases range from an exploding glass kettle to skin tag remover cream and a defective smartwatch.

Market Drayton has been keeping us busy lately… and not all of it involved paperwork! 📝

First up, our team headed to the Ginger & Spice Festival celebrating the fantastic local businesses, people and community that make Market Drayton such a special place to be.

Then it was time to swap the office for the green as some of our team headed over to Joule's Market Drayton Bowling Club, which we’re proud to sponsor, for an evening of bowls. 🎱

There was plenty of concentration, some very serious tactical discussions… and varying interpretations of what exactly constitutes a “good line”.

As it turns out, all those years of negotiating, advising and keeping things on track translate surprisingly well to the green!

We’re delighted to share some fantastic recognition for our teams and people in the latest Legal 500 rankings for 2027.

Six of our practice areas have been recognised, with Commercial Litigation ranked Tier 2, Family Tier 3, and Company & Commercial, Trusts & Estates, Personal Injury and Contentious Probate all ranked Tier 4.

We’re particularly pleased to see our Personal Injury and Contentious Probate teams progress from "Ones To Watch" to full Tier 4 rankings, recognising the continued development and expertise of both teams.

There’s also individual recognition for three of our people, with Adam Pike named a Leading Partner, Nasar Sarwar recognised as a Leading Associate and Harbinder Kaur Gosal named a Next Generation Partner.

A brilliant result for everyone involved and a reflection of the expertise, commitment and hard work of our teams across Talbots Law.

This month our teams swapped paperwork for garden gloves and the retail shop floor as they headed to for a day of volunteering.

One group rolled up their sleeves and got stuck into the gardens, giving the beautiful outdoor spaces a little TLC, helping to keep the outdoor spaces looking their absolute best for the children and families who use them.

Meanwhile, another team headed to the Acorns Harborne store, sorting donations, keeping shelves stocked and lending a hand wherever they could, including helping customers along the way.

We’re incredibly proud to continue supporting Acorns, not just through fundraising, but by giving our time and getting involved wherever we can.

To us, supporting Acorns is about showing up, getting stuck in and doing what we can to help.

We’re back in Stourbridge!

Less than six months after a devastating flood forced us to close our ground floor, we’re delighted to have reopened our doors for client meetings, walk-in clients and enquiries.

After a burst pipe over the April bank holiday weekend left the building in need of significant repairs, our team has worked incredibly hard to make sure our clients continued to receive the same high standard of service from our other local offices.

Since then, we’ve renovated, resecured and redecorated the building, and we couldn’t be happier to welcome people back through our doors.

It’s been a challenging few months, but thanks to the hard work of our team, our clients’ understanding and the brilliant work of Igloo Commercial Property Services, we’re back in the heart of the Stourbridge community. Work is still underway on our first and second floors, with the aim of welcoming our full Stourbridge team back later this year.

Please note that we’re currently operating with a skeleton team at the office, available 9am–2pm, Monday to Friday.
