Another great result at Sheffield Crown Court

Our client was originally arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and later charged with Section 18 GBH – one of the most serious offences under UK law.

The Proceeds of Crime Act 2002-(POCA)

This legislation gives authorities powers to recover assets which are believed to have been gained through criminal conduct.

These powers are regularly used in criminal cases such as drug offences, money laundering and fraud.

Today our client appeared at Sheffield Crown Court for a POCA hearing. As a result of careful consideration of the case by our defence team, the POCA proceedings against our client have been withdrawn- great result for him.
