Well, 5 years ago today we opened our doors for the first time and what an adventure it has been! To the many clients and friends we've met, and to the friends and family who have supported and encouraged us along the way, thank you for what you've contributed to our growth and success. Along with the many others, we are so sad at news of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. To us, she was an example of the kind of person we aspire to. She was a great leader, a diplomat, a lover of nature. She was also a mummy, a wife, an aunt, a sister and a daughter. She was, for all of us, a comforting constant presence that we could rely on.
Most importantly, she was a woman of great faith. When a rainbow hung over the rainy sky yesterday, we were reminded of how the rainbow is a symbol of God's promises. We are so grateful that Her Majesty kept her promises to us. We believe she has been greeted by God, who she relied upon, with open arms and the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
Thank you, Your Majesty. We will miss you so very much.

As many of you will know, here at Hope Law we have a charity that we support each month. We try to draw attention to that charity through our website and social media presence, we provide an opportunity to donate to that charity via our website and we always give a percentage of our profits to that charity, at the end of the month. This month (or two) we will draw attention to and support the wonderful work of Sands, the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity - https://www.sands.org.uk/. Sands works to support anyone affected by the death of a baby; improve the care bereaved parents receive; and create a world where fewer babies die.

We're taking a break for the moment from advertising or marketing ourselves and trying instead to draw attention to ways in which we can all help the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. If you want to give to the Red Cross, you can do so here - https://www.hopelaw.co.uk/making-a-difference/ though there are of course many other ways - some are collecting clothes, bedding etc (look on local FB or WhatsApp community groups for what is happening near you) - and Choose Love looks like another worthwhile option too.
