A Lasting Power of Attorney allows you to decide, in advance, who should support you if you can no longer make certain decisions yourself.

You can choose trusted attorneys, set out how they should act and record preferences about your finances, property, health or care.

Without a valid LPA, you may need to apply for the court to appoint a deputy. That person may not be who you would have chosen, and the process can take additional time and money.

David Kitchen has built a broad, well-established career since joining Russell & Russell in 2016 💫

Based at our Bolton head office, David specialises in all aspects of residential property, including sales, purchases, auction properties, new builds, shared ownership and lease extensions.

He became an equity partner in 2019 and is currently serving as Vice President of Bolton Law Society, following consecutive terms as President.

Outside work, David is a committed Bury FC supporter and enjoys both playing and watching sport. He is also a keen gardener and cook, although time spent walking his Toller is hard to beat.
