After a lot of thought, I want to share a personal update.

Due to a terminal inoperable condition, I have made the very difficult decision to stop personally advising clients.

Although I may still be able to do some video appointments in the short term, I intend to retire from taking on any new business from Friday 1 May.

After that, my team and I will take all the time needed to complete the orders already in our pipeline and make sure everything is seen through properly and with care.

I’m very pleased to say that Mary Morgan my great friend and trusted colleague, will continue to represent Beacon Advice in the Leicester area.

I am also looking into whether I can find a suitable successor for the business. If that doesn’t happen, we already know of a couple of excellent advisers in my area who we can refer people to with complete confidence.

This brings me great sadness, because I am so proud of the little business I have built and of the wonderful customers we have been lucky enough to help.

I also want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who reads my posts, supports my work, and takes an interest in what I do. It really has meant a great deal to me.

Special thanks as well to Steve Wilson, my brilliant Brand Designer, and Stewart Dunne, my Office Manager, for their unfailing support.
