The Society shares close links with the University's School of Law and continuously seeks to provide our members with new and exciting opportunities in the legal field. Firstly, we seeks to complement our members' legal studies through the organizing of career events and visits to various organizations within the legal industry. By way of example, we have forged an exclusive relationship with the
US Air Force. In doing so, we are able to further our members' understanding of American Law through visits to their courts. We also assist the School in organizing a trip to Brussels every year, thus providing truly international legal opportunities to you. We also understand that networking at an early stage in your studies plays a large part in securing a training contract or pupillage. For this reason, we work with the School of Law to organize guest speakers and networking events with solicitors, barristers and other professionals throughout the year. We also provide a number of purely social events for our members - after all that work you need to let your hair down once in a while! We have the honour of hosting the University's Christmas Law Ball every year. This is undoubtedly the biggest social event in the university's calendar and a good opportunity to drag your lecturers to the dance floor!
