Have you heard the one about the dog chewing up your Credit Card? Did you know that if your Will is lost, damaged or destroyed, when you die you will have been deemed as dying intestate? This means dying as though you never had a Will. The consequences of this can be catastrophic, and could mean that your nearest and dearest might not actually inherit your estate. So if you have a Will, make sure it stored safely, and that your Executors know where to find it when it's needed - an keep it well away from the pooch!

Just throwing a question out there. Have you taken any steps to ensure your loved ones can manage your affairs if you are taken ill or have to isolate for any period of time? Would love to hear how many of you have thought of this.

If you have made a Will you are already in the minority, so pat yourself on the back. One further thing to consider is where it's stored. Is it at home, with your solicitors, at your bank or somewhere else? Do your loved ones know where it is and how they can retrieve it? In actual fact, even if you have a will and nobody knows where it is, you may as well have never made a Will. We offer will secure storage in the National will Storage bunker and this includes registration on the National Will Register so your Will can be traced and recovered when it's needed.
