During delivery of our decoration programme for Durham Aged Mineworkers' Homes Association, they asked us if we could help redecorate a reading room at retirement housing complex, Stargate Lane.

We were delighted to be able to help and give the room some much needed TLC. We added some shelving in the corner of the room for games and books to be stored, and boxed in the pipework above the sink for a neat and tidy finish. The room was then fully repainted by our 2nd year apprentice, Shayne Battista.

The room is now a usable community space that the residents can enjoy and socialise in.

We were delighted when a Durham Aged Mineworkers' Homes Association resident reached out to us recently to share her positive feedback regarding the decoration works we are currently delivering at Holberry Terrace - an age-exclusive housing development consisting of 12 bungalows.

Happy residents are important to Trident and we're proud to play our part in improving their homes and delivering positive outcomes.

We recently received positive feedback from the Gateshead Council Site Manager, who shared positive comments from tenants residing in the properties delivered as part of our recent contract.

The project works involved the application of flame retardant coatings to communal areas across the Gateshead Borough, helping to create a safe means of escape for all of the residents living in the properties.

Positive feedback from residents is always rewarding and reflects the dedication of our operational teams who work collaboratively to deliver solutions that make a real difference to local communities.

We look forward to continuing to work closely with Gateshead Council to successfully complete the remaining phases of the project.

We're pleased to have welcomed Newcastle City Council resident Kenzie Oliver for a period of work experience with our North East Surveyor, Connor Patterson.

During his time with us, Kenzie had the opportunity to visit a range of sites and gain valuable insight into the industry. Connor introduced him to key aspects of the role, including site measurements, creating site files, and the importance of health and safety in the workplace.

It was great to support Kenzie as he explored a potential career path and developed a better understanding of the construction and maintenance sector. Kenzie enjoyed his time with the team and said the experience had given him valuable insight into the industry.

A big thank you to Connor for sharing his knowledge and helping to make the experience both informative and rewarding.

Our team received some positive feedback following the completion of a recent external decorations project for Anchor, which saw us paint and repair the perimeter railings, bin stores, garden sheds and furniture, and timber panelling at Lightbowne Hall care home in Manchester.

The project formed part of our 10-year internal and external decorations contract with Anchor across its entire Northern region, comprising 862 locations spanning from Northampton to the Scottish Borders as part of its asset investment programme.

The Home Manager said: “I have nothing but praise for the two gentlemen painters who have been completing external decoration work outside at Lightbowne Hall. We didn’t even know they were here; they were very pleasant, cleaned up after themselves, and I have walked around with them today, and it's very professional, neat, and looks lovely. They are a credit to your company.”

Positive feedback like this reflects the hard work and commitment of our operational teams, who continue to deliver high-quality improvements while ensuring minimal disruption and a customer-focused service to clients and residents.

We're pleased to have supported Southampton City Council Community Fun Day at Northam Estate earlier this month.

Having worked on the estate for over a year, delivering window replacements, roof renewals and ongoing painting works, it was great to spend time with residents and see the community come together for such a positive event. Our Resident Liaison Officer, Tamzin Croxson, was delighted to attend and support the event, spending time with residents and helping to make the day a success.

It was fantastic to see housing officers, managers, local councillors, residents and community partners come together, with children particularly enjoying the chance to meet players from Southampton FC Women's Team and local community police officers.

A big thank you to Southampton City Council and everyone involved in organising the event. We look forward to continuing our work at Northam Estate and making a lasting difference for residents and the wider community.

We're proud to recognise the outstanding efforts of our team and contractor partners who continue to deliver high-quality planned maintenance works across Southampton.

Since beginning our contract with Southampton City Council in 2024, we've been working together to improve homes and communities across the city, delivering:

✅ 473 kitchen refurbishments
✅ 406 bathroom refurbishments

These improvements are helping to create safer, more modern, and more comfortable homes for residents.

One of our most significant projects to date has been the major works programme at Northam Estate, where our teams have delivered a huge programme of improvements:

✅ 4,000+ windows installed
✅ 280+ new doors fitted
✅ 18 flat roofs replaced
✅ Approximately 5 tonnes of AIB safely removed

This has been a true team effort, with multiple contractors working together over many months to successfully deliver window, door, roofing, and painting improvements across the estate.

A huge thank you to our team, partners, Southampton City Council, and the residents of Southampton. Your support, patience, and positivity make all the difference.

We look forward to continuing to deliver improvements that have a lasting impact on homes and communities across the city.

Trident are delighted to sponsor Croft JFC Blue again for the upcoming 2026/27 campaign. The boys absolutely flourished in their first season last year as the U7's, and we're excited to see them develop even more this year as the U8's.

A well-established pillar of the local community, Croft JFC has been proudly serving Swindon's young players through volunteer-led teams since 1972. They have over 350 children aged 6-18, and 29 teams at the club, celebrating diversity, nurturing talent, and creating a safe space where every child can thrive. They champion fun, fairness, and friendship - and we're thrilled to play a small part in support of this.

We wish Croft U8 Blue and the wider Croft JFC community all the very best for the season ahead.

Our team in the North East of England have been working on estate improvement works at St Anthony’s Walk on behalf of Newcastle City Council.

During the project, residents highlighted an area between properties that had been affected by fly-tipping and accumulated waste, preventing the team from erecting the scaffold needed to carry out the planned works.

As part of our social value commitment to Newcastle City Council, our Community Support Officer, Lorraine Hetherington, and Apprentice Painter, Shayne Battista, rolled their sleeves up and successfully cleared the area, helping to improve the environment for residents and allowing the project to move forward.
