Job description
Kingston Berkeley is a busy and growing estate agency specialising in residential, HMO, and commercial property. We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Property Inspector to join us on a self-employed, ad-hoc basis.
This role is ideal for someone practical, observant, and confident working independently across a variety of property types.
Inspections will include checks to areas such as loft spaces, roofs, chimneys, rainwater goods, and other key structural and safety-related elements.
All findings must be clearly recorded using our inspection app, with any issues reported promptly to our Property Management Team for action.
Responsibilities
Identifying: Fire safety risks.
Identifying: Maintenance issues (current and developing).
Identifying: Preventative maintenance requirements.
Identifying: Tenant-related issues (cleanliness, general care of property, etc.)
Interim inspections of residential and commercial.
Monthly fire safety inspections of HMO (Houses in Multiple Occupancy) properties.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
Access to your own vehicle.
Motor insurance for business use.
Comfortable using technology (tablets, apps, basic computer systems).
Strong attention to detail.
Able to work independently and manage your own time.
Desirable Skills
Previous experience in building, maintenance, or property-related work.
