Lisa Cochrane joined Leigh Duncan in 2016 as the firm’s first employee, right at the beginning when Janine and Ingmar were getting the new practice up and running.

She joined as a Conveyancing Paralegal, but ten years in a growing business has a habit of expanding the job description.

Today, alongside her conveyancing work, Lisa helps with much of what keeps the practice running day to day, from office management and HR admin to suppliers and organising team and client events.

When Lisa reflects on the last ten years, it’s the clients she comes back to.

The families who return to Leigh Duncan. The people who recommend the firm to their children. The familiar faces who come back years later when they need help again.

Over the years, we’ve worked closely with the whole Bovingdons team on property transactions throughout Buckinghamshire, supporting clients through some of the biggest financial decisions they will make.

Last Friday, we were delighted to take part in the annual Business Connexions charity golf day in support of Wycombe Homeless Connection.

With temperatures climbing well above 30°C, it was certainly a warm day to be out on the course, but it was all worthwhile for such an important local cause.

Representing Leigh Duncan Solicitors were Janine Heil, Nick Bridger (Oakfield Surveyors), Josh Godfrey (Oakwood Estates) and Gavin Croxford (The Search Bureau).

Wycombe Homeless Connection provides vital support to people experiencing homelessness across Buckinghamshire, and we're proud to support both the charity and the work of the Business Connexions network.

A substantial amount was raised on the day, with the final fundraising total due to be announced shortly. Thank you to everyone who organised, sponsored and took part in another fantastic event.

We'll let Janine decide whether that pre-tournament golf lessons paid off! 🏌️‍♀️

Ten years, one very special evening

In June we celebrated ten years of Leigh Duncan Solicitors with a relaxed summer evening at Bekonscot Model Village.

It was wonderful to spend time with clients, colleagues, friends, family, and professional partners who have supported us throughout the last decade.

What started in 2016 as a small local law firm has grown thanks to the trust, recommendations, and relationships we've built along the way.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to everyone who has supported Leigh Duncan over the last ten years.

We couldn't have done it without you.

Janine has been getting a few lessons in ahead of this year's Business Connexions charity golf day, where she'll be representing Leigh Duncan Solicitors alongside Nick Bridger from Oakfield Surveyors, Dan Gifford from Bovingdons, and Gavin Croxford from The Search Bureau.

The event raises funds for Wycombe Homeless Connection, a fantastic local charity that supports people experiencing homelessness across Buckinghamshire.

We're looking forward to a great day on Friday 26th June, hopefully some improved golf, and helping support a cause that makes a genuine difference in our community.
