I am now putting my 46 years experience into designing and producing plans for extensions for the purpose of planning permission and/or building control.

After 46 years in the building trade I am feeling a few aches and pains and so I will be using all that experience to design and produce plans for extensions for the purpose of obtaining planning permission and building control. I have worked for 46 years in the building trade in various positions, plasterer, kitchen fitter, fire proofer in the oil and chemical industry, designed and built an exte

nsion and worked in the council offices drawing plans of buildings they owned for the asset register. I studied at Hull College working towards being an architect's technician from 1999 - 2000 acquiring City & Guilds in 2d and 3d design using AutoCAD and ONC in building studies.

Nervous, brand new to facebook, but its time to get on it so here goes. Im sat at my desk with "Facebook for Dummies" by my side.
Recently I bought a new computer, some new CAD software and a new printer. After getting all set up I loaded the software and launched it. To my horror, everything has changed beyond recognition. I learnt on a 1999 version of AutoCAD, 25 years of updates. You know when a new version of Windows comes out but 10 times worse. Anyway it was like learning CAD all over again so I threw myself in at the deep end and tried some 3d solid modelling. I looked around the house for things to draw with a good degree of difficulty and came up with these. What do you think ?
