Brewer Harding and Rowe recently donated a prize for Bideford Blues & Appledore JFC Raffle. The tournament on the 6th & 7th June was a great success and the raffle held raised just over £750. 🙌

The team said that this amount will be great for the club and the kids and will go towards helping the kids to stay in the sport which they love.

What a fantastic day it was for the Care for kids North Devon 2026 10K run!

Brewer Harding and Rowe love to sponsor charity events, but also like to really get involved. 🏃🏃‍♀️

Meet Toby Barnes, Partner based at our Barnstaple office.

Toby is a Partner who qualified in 1996 and is a member of the firm’s management board. Specialising in all aspects of property and land transactions, Toby acts for clients both locally and nationally and is a member of the Agricultural Law Association. His work includes:-

• Agricultural Land acquisitions and disposals
• Freehold and Leasehold plot development
• Land and Property Auctions
• House and flat purchases and sales
• Advising on Equity Release Mortgages

Born in North Devon, Toby was educated in Oxfordshire, Berkshire and West Yorkshire before completing his post graduate Law qualification from the College of Law, Chester. He returned to North Devon to qualify as a Solicitor and joined Brewer Harding & Rowe in 1998.

Away from the office Toby enjoys spending time with his family, supporting Barnstaple RFC and the Exeter Chiefs and enjoying the beautiful North Devon coast both in and out of the water.

Meet Tim Nock, a solicitor based in our Bideford office.

Tim obtained a Law Degree from the University of Birmingham and qualified as a Solicitor in 1990.
He specialises in all aspects of conveyancing. He has substantial and wide ranging experience in freehold and leasehold transactions both residential and commercial and including the sale and purchase of businesses. Tim also has experience of acting for charities in conveyancing transactions as well as advising on Equity Release Mortgages.

Don't miss the annual Care for kids North Devon 10k Run this Sunday 7th June. 🏃‍♀️🏃

The charity is one that we are always so proud to sponsor as it does such a lot to provide financial assistance for North Devon based families with children diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. We hope this year's run will be even bigger and better that before.

Care for kids North Devon is a local charity who provide financial assistance for North Devon based families with children diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. The financial assistance helps pay for the costs of hotels, travel, food etc, that inevitably come with dealing with a life-threatening illness within the family. They also fund the children’s playroom and family room within the Caroline Thorpe Ward at North Devon District Hospital.
