Hi, I’m Beth and I’m a Partner at Hortons Estate Agents. I cover North West Leicestershire and South Derbyshire. Before becoming an estate agent, I spent a decade working in retail which was amazing experience and it gave me a real understanding of customer experience.

I became an estate agent because I love property but realised I could combine my love for customer service and offer a truly focused service to make moving home as easy as possible. Moving home doesn’t have to be stressful!

However one of the most important aspects of my role is ensuring home owners achieve the best possible price for their home. It’s important that as agents, we have an understanding of how the digital era we live in now has changed the way buyers search for property. Modern agents need to think of themselves first as marketeers, second as agents. We’re a marketing agency, we just happen to sell houses.

I live in Ashby and have lived in the area all my life, which means I know all about the local area: schools, dog walks and most importantly, the best places to eat and drink. There’s a great local community and a wide array of properties too.
