💡Here in the East Midlands, SMEs make up a significant proportion of the local economy, with around 60% of jobs based within SMEs and more than 98% of micro and small businesses employing fewer than 50 people.

That’s why we were delighted to welcome DMU Made, the enterprise team at De Montfort University, as today’s sponsor of Ashby Connect.

🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ 20 miles. 28 walkers. One important cause.

On 3 October, a team of 28 Fishers Solicitors staff and family members will take on a 20-mile walk from our Derby office to our Ashby office to raise vital funds for our 2026/27 Charity of the Year, SARAC (Sexual Abuse R**e Advice Centre).

Based in Burton, SARAC provides vital support to people who have experienced sexual violence, including young people aged 11 and over.

The challenge is a chance for our colleagues and their families to come together, get active and, most importantly, raise funds to help SARAC continue its essential work.

💙 Every mile will be worth it.
