Myerson was founded by lawyer Neil Myerson in Altrincham, South Manchester, in 1982. Neil's intention was to provide a city-centre standard commercial law practice in a more pleasant, relaxed and amenable environment. Like Neil, almost all of the solicitors and partners at the firm previously trained and worked at large Manchester city centre or national law firms, and bring with them high standards of professionalism
and a wealth of expertise. The firm's primary office is a row of converted cottages in the conservation area of Altrincham town centre. This unusual green setting reflects a different working ethos: our services are tailored to the needs of business people, both in terms of their work and home life, and delivered by first-rate legal professionals in a highly accessible location. 🎨 A celebration of Altrincham community.

We were delighted to welcome local artist Jane Fraser and Hannah Grahame from the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT) to our Altrincham office to present the finished Altrincham Community Canvas.

Created by Jane and the Altrincham Society of Artists, the artwork celebrates the town through its recognisable landmarks and local businesses, with organisations from across Altrincham coming together to sponsor their place on the canvas.

Myerson was proud to support the project as a sponsor and to purchase the finished artwork, which will now be displayed in our office for colleagues, clients and visitors to enjoy.

Best of all, the project has also supported a fantastic cause, with proceeds going to CAFT, a charity that is particularly close to our hearts and one we are proud to support through our wider community and charitable work.

Being based in Altrincham means being part of a brilliant local community. We are committed to playing an active role in that community, whether through supporting local charities, partnering with other organisations or getting behind initiatives that celebrate the town we are proud to call home.

💜 We did it – and we’ve raised over £6,165 so far!

On Friday evening, Team Myerson took to the streets of Manchester for the Cancer Research UK Shine Night Walk, with colleagues from across the firm completing either the 10K or half-marathon route.

We took on the challenge together in memory of our much-loved colleague and friend, Barbara Allman, and we are incredibly proud to share that, thanks to the generosity of our colleagues, clients, friends and wider community, we've raised an amazing £6,165 so far, surpassing our £6,000 target!

It was a special and emotional evening, and a wonderful way to celebrate Barbara and the impact she had on so many of us at Myerson, while also walking in support of everyone whose lives have been affected by cancer.

A huge thank you to everyone who walked, donated, shared our fundraising page, or supported the team along the way. Every contribution has helped us reach this fantastic total, and we are so grateful for your support. 💛

And, of course, a massive well done to everyone in Team Myerson who took on the challenge. Every mile was for Barbara, and for all those who have faced cancer themselves or supported someone through it. 💜

What a fantastic day at the 100th Cheshire Ploughing Match! 🚜☀️

Andrew, Clara, and Chris from our Agricultural Law team were treated to gorgeous sunshine at Cholmondeley Castle and had a brilliant time catching up with clients, friends and contacts from across the rural community.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand to say hello, and congratulations to everyone who tried their luck on our Spin to Win Prize Wheel! We loved giving out plenty of prizes throughout the day. 🎁

It was also a pleasure to share our stand with Fazakerley Sharpe and Afford Bond Chartered Accountants. Thank you to both teams for helping make the day such an enjoyable one.

💛 One week to go – and £2,495 raised so far!

We are getting closer to the Cancer Research UK Shine Night Walk, and thanks to the generosity of our colleagues, clients, friends and wider community, Team Myerson has now raised £2,495 towards our £6,000 target.

On Friday 2 October, colleagues from across the firm will take to the streets of Manchester, completing either the 10K or half-marathon Shine Night Walk in memory of our much-loved colleague and friend, Barbara Allman.

With one week until the walk, we would love one final fundraising push to help us get closer to our £6,000 goal.

A brilliant morning of padel and networking! 🎾

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Dunham Forest Golf & Country Club this morning for our Myerson Padel Networking Event.

It was great to bring clients and contacts together for a morning away from the usual networking setting, with plenty of friendly competition, good conversation and an opportunity to build new connections.
