FULL TIME LEGAL SECRETARY
(Full time or Job Share considered)
We are a friendly small law firm and specialize in private client legal services, including probate and estate administration, wills, lasting powers of attorney, inheritance tax planning, care fees planning, and trusts.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Legal Secretary/Receptionist at LB Wills & Probate (although part-time/job-sharing will be considered). The Legal Secretary will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks, including document management using our case management software, answering our phones and greeting clients, dealing with basic client queries, legal document preparation, transcription of digital dictation, providing assistance to legal professionals, managing diaries, and utilizing clerical skills to support the team.
Qualifications
Law and Legal Document Preparation skills
Experience as a Legal Assistant
Clerical Skills
Diary Management
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
Experience of digital dictation
Ability to work effectively in a team
Previous experience in the legal industry is a plus
