⚠️ 𝗧𝗜𝗘 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 ⚠️

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱?
Spain’s national police (𝘋𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘤𝘪ó𝘯 𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘥𝘦 𝘭𝘢 𝘗𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘤í𝘢) began an administrative pilot assigning automatic TIE (𝘛𝘢𝘳𝘫𝘦𝘵𝘢 𝘥𝘦 𝘐𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘤𝘪ó𝘯 𝘥𝘦 𝘌𝘹𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘫𝘦𝘳𝘰) fingerprint appointments for some approved applicants.

The pilot only applies to approvals processed through local provincial immigration offices (𝘖𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘴 𝘥𝘦 𝘌𝘹𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘫𝘦𝘳í𝘢). It does not appear to include approvals processed through UGE or consulate-issued visas.

It currently covers about 𝟭𝟬% 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 resolved from 8 October onwards. Police describe it as a test phase, and authorities will decide later whether to extend it further.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗿
The approval resolution 𝘮𝘢𝘺 state whether the automatic appointment applies to the case. If it does not mention automatic assignment, manual booking remains the default.

Selected applicants will receive their 𝗧𝗜𝗘 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲, 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 by email and SMS. Applicants must still attend in person for fingerprinting and document submission.
