The NON LUCRATIVE VISA has become the most popular option for residency in Spain.
Easy application process
Once you hand in the application you can have the OK to move to Spain within 3 months, often even quicker.
No costly investment requirements
You simply demonstrate your current economic situation. You will need to prove you have savings though for a minimum of €27K per person if you are not married.
Once you have your non lucrative visa, you can reside in Spain for up to 1 year. After the first year, the renewal is very simple and you will be provided for another 2 years of permit. After 5 years of residency in Spain, you can apply for a permanent residency.
If you qualify for this visa, you can bring your family too with a joint application.

Non-Lucrative VISA documents to be provided
Two copies of the National Visa Application Form duly filled and signed by the applicant.
Two recent colour photos with white background, 3.5cm x 4.5cm.
Original passport, valid for at least 1 year from submission of application.
Police Clearance from countries of residence for the last 5 years.
Medical certificate: The applicant must be accredited to not suffer from any diseases that can have serious health consequences in accordance with the provisions of the International Health Regulations 2005”. *
Medical Insurance with an insurance company authorised to operate in Spain.
Documents proving sufficient financial means for your living expenses and accommodation (€2,259.60 per month plus €564.90 per each family member).

Form 790-052.* Must be legalised by means of a Hague Apostil Certificate and translated into Spanish.
After the application and other documents have been submitted they will be sent to Spain. This process can take up to 3 months. If your application is accepted, we will contact you. You have to enter Spain within the period of validity of your visa. Passport must be stamped on arrival. You have to apply for a Foreigner Identity Card within 1 month of your arrival in Spain at an OFICINA DE EXTRANJERIA.
The European Golden Visa is one of the most requested options for residency in Spain.
Quick resolution
Once you hand in the application you will get a confirmation within 20 working days.
No minimum stay
Unlike some Visas, you do not have to prove that you live in Spain a minimum number of days per year. You can spend as much or as little time in the country as you like. The only requirement is that you visit at least once per year.
Working rights
You can work in Spain if you want to, either for a company or self-employed.
Duration of the European Golden Visa for Spain
The initial visa lasts for two years, if we make the application for you within Spain (recommended – if you are not able to travel to Spain to make the application, please consult us about the requirements). You can renew for two more periods of two years, and then apply for permanent residency.
The Investor’s Residence Permit allows you to bring your family too.
You’ll have the freedom to travel to the 26 countries the Schengen area as often as you wish with no extras Visas or paperwork.
