WEALTH TAX IN THE REGION OF MURCIA

‼️ ‼️ ‼️ 11th April was the start of the period to complete the Personal Income Tax Return (IRPF), the final date for the submission of the Tax Return is 30th of June 2023. This Income Declaration is mandatory for all tax residents in Spain and corresponds to the fiscal year 2022 (January-December).

In addition, if you are not a tax resident in Spain but you obtain any income here, you are obliged to fill out quarterly returns, which must be made during the first calendar days of the months of April, July, October, and January.

Likewise, non-resident owners of a property in Spain are required to submit an annual declaration, the deadline for this is 31st of December.

On March 27th, the Agreement between Spain and the UK was published in the BOE to determine the conditions under which British citizens residing in Spain will be able 📨 to vote and stand in the municipal elections next May.

The agreement completes the insertion that was made in the BOE on February 16th, 2019, which guaranteed the right to vote in municipal elections for UK nationals.
